Biography:
Born in Abilene, TX, raised in San Antonio, TX, Red.October defines what it truly means to be an artist who loves his work. With an energetic flow, enthusiastic presence, and a unique approach to Hip-Hop, Red.October has the talent and skill thats ready for exposure. He writes raps while watching old episodes of Smart Guy & Saved By The Bell. When hes faced with writers block, He usually paces around the studio, throws on some Kanye West, Mars Volta, or Death Cab For Cutie and hes back on track. Yes, hes a bit different. Understatement of the century.

I dont believe in building barricades on creativity. When I create music, I dont feel a need to act a certain way other than just being myself, being open to ideas, and having fun. Thats when the best music is made.

As quirky and odd as he may seem, Red.October takes his craft seriously and learned early in his life to stay open to doing all sorts of things within the music industry from songwriting, singing, and rapping to recording, mixing, and engineering. He even takes care of promotion and marketing as well.

Red.Octobers influences span across a wide range of genres from Hip-Hop (Lupe Fiasco, Eminem, Common, The Clipse) to Trip-Hop (Zero 7, Portishead, Metric), R&B (Kevin Michael, The-Dream, John Legend) to Rock (Weezer, Copeland, Margot, Sean Lennon).

Graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Entertainment Business and an Associates of Science in Recording Arts from Full Sail University, Red.October understands both the business and creative side of the music industry.
