LeToya Luckett, known professionally as LeToya, is an American R&B singer-songwriter and actress. She was a founding member of the R&B female group Destiny's Child, with whom she won two Grammy Awards and released many successful commercial recordings.
After signing a record deal with Capitol Records, she pursued a successful solo career. Her solo debut album, LeToya (2006), topped the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart in July 2006 and was certified platinum by the RIAA in December 2006. The single, 'Torn', achieved records on BET's top ten countdown show 106 & Park. She was also named 'One of the Best New Artists of 2006' by AOL and the 'Top Songwriter of 2006' by ASCAP. Luckett released a second solo album Lady Love on August 25th, 2009 which debuted at #12 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and #1 on the U.S. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Lady Love is the second studio album by American R&B recording artist LeToya Luckett originally scheduled for release several times in 2008. After corporate restructuring at Capitol Records the album was released on August 25, 2009 in the United States. This album is more electronic and dance than LeToya.
On the album Luckett has worked with a wide variety of collborators including Ne-Yo, Chris Brown and Bryan-Michael Cox. Featured guests include Ludacris, Estelle and Mims whilst some versions of the album will also have a bonus track which also features Bun B, Killa Kyleon, and Slim Thug.
The album's first single 'Not Anymore' was released February 3, 2009 having been written by Ne-Yo and produced by Bei Maejor. In the US it reached number 7 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. It also peaked at #18 on the U.S. Billboard U.S. Billboard R&B chart. 'She Ain't Got...' was released as the second single on May 26, 2009 peaking at #49 on the Japan Hot 100, has so far peaked at #20 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and has also started charting on the U.S. Billboard Rhythmic Top 40 and the U.S. Billboard Pop 100 Airplay charts. Regret was released as the third single. The song features rapper Ludacris and has so far peaked at #8 on the U.S. Billboard R&B chart, #78 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and at #42 on Billboard's Radio Songs chart (also known as the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart). According to Nielsen Sound Scan 'Lady Love' debuted at #12 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart and at #1 on the U.S. Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.
LeToya is the debut studio album by American singer LeToya Luckett, released by Capitol Records on July 25, 2006 in the United States. The album spawned three singles: 'Torn', 'She Don't' and 'Obvious'. Besides the officially released singles, LeToya's debut album also includes the promo singles, 'U Got What I Need' and 'All Eyes On Me'. LeToya co-wrote 10 out of the 14 tracks. As the first album of LeToya, recording and release followed the cease of Destiny's Child. The album garnered mostly positive reception from music critics, debuting at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, making it the singer's first album released to do so. It was certified Platinum in December 2006.
